Okay first of all people will not take chances with tryin to fix so expensive a phone. And second of all I want one even if I don’t have an iPhone.

Actually I’m planning to get the 3G version when it comes to India and would do well to be better prepared. My tack record with gadgets sucks.

No you dont, iPhone is jazzy , hip and trendy and all . but apart from having 8 GB memory and brilliant interface it’s got nothing. You can get way lot better (technically) HTC Touch in place of this, and I bet HTC phone won’t crack.

On other hand, if I were to spend 15-16k then i’d buy iPod Classic for 11k and some Entry Level (do-it-all) phone for rest 5-6k

Hey experience iPhone first hand, up close and I bet you’d as easily change that notion.

My friend has the original one and I’m always drooling when he takes it out of his pants. (that came out dirty :P)

Your suggestion seems fair but then if I’d buy an Mp3 player I’d as easily look for better options than an iPod.
