LOL bro, thanks for appreciation :)
but, they hvnt dissapeared, kids still buy them, new issues keep coming, maybe it’s just us, we don’t have time to check out those shops near bus stands and railway stations :(
and arrival of DC comics in India has also made some difference. I wont be wrong if I said that people (that includes me) love International superheroes more than Desi ones.
but it still surprises me how these great superheroes never made it to the silver screen , not to talk about the big one.

Well that post of yours made nostalgic. As a kid I remember I never missed any of the latest issue, and loved to have my own comic book than borrow it from anyone else.Time changed, technology developed and now I see my younger cousins demanding nothing else but straight away a PC.
No one bothers to have a glance over those comics which had.. conversations with sound effects(dishum):)

I have fond memories of Raj comic and its super hero Nag Rag was my favouraite amongst Sabu and many more. It is great news that Raj Comics would be avaialbe online but i dont think that it would be provide the same thril of good old age. That is enjoyin Nag Rag new adventure away from the eagle eyes of our parents.

Raj comics have continued to be a source of interest, admiration, and fantasy to a great extent to children and all. I used to be a huge fan of Chacha Chaudhary, Billu, Nagraj and so many....... A great move in keeping with hi-tech world.

i dont know how much they appeal to today’s kids but these old indian comics like nagraj, billu, pinki n chacha chaudhry etc had a charm of their own. though they may still have a niche readership, they are not popularised much. most kids i know are more keen on Archies n stuff like that.

Well, gagan, I surely know that :D

Commenting for the heck of it. People you ought be to ashamed of yourselves. Crediting Raj comics with the likes of chacha chaudhri and sabu and pinki and what not, when clearly they were and are the hallmarks of the Diamond comics. Get your facts straight before commenting on stuff. And Nag Rag???????? Oh just come on...!

LOL man, you sound furious :D. Nag Rag could be the sound he made while making those snake ropes, no? :P

Egjactly Furious is the right word. Do you even know how many kids have got their eyes screwed up by reading comics like scriptures? And NagRaj’s snake ropes went like ’hiss’ (or at least the snakes went that way) no Nag Rag there either.
